Way back in elementary school I had the honor of running our school store. I say honor because it was pretty much my younger self's pride & joy and everyone knew it. I would wake up extra early on days we were open to make sure that all our goods were perfectly displayed for the customers (aka my classmates). Last night while doing a little online Christmas shopping, I stumbled onto a store that brought all those memories back. Seedling is the store I am talking about and if you ever had dreams of being a teacher as a child I guarantee you that their products will help you remember why. They sell amazing toys & activity kits that are meant to drive creativity & imagination through play. The items they have to offer remind me of things that many of us may have played with as children ourselves, so there is that extra element of nostalgia that will leave you looking through all of their offerings with a childlike joy.
With the holidays right around the corner, I figured I'd share this company with you as a potential gift option for the little ones in your life. Since we don't have any kids to buy for in our family, we usually donate gifts to children in need. I'm thinking this year that creating little packages with a lot of smaller gifts from this company might be the perfect way to spread the joy to as many kids as possible. If we don't do that then I'm really loving the possibility of buying somebody a design your own wizard wand kit. That just sounds like fun if you ask me!
I'd love to know what you guys think of these children's toys. They don't have all the high tech bells and whistles that kids today are use to but that's kind of what I love about them. Back to basics is having a resurgence for a reason right?
