No Green Thumb? No Problem

Somehow I grew up with a mom that is amazing with plants yet I can't seem to keep anything alive. I really hope that eventually I will have a green thumb like her but until then I will have to stick to plants that are extremely difficult to kill. If you have not incorporated succulents into your home yet you are really missing out. Succulents come in many varieties providing a lot of visual  interest with shapes, textures, and color. They look great showcased individually like you see above and even more visually interesting incorporated into a terrarium. Plants have been shown to increase happiness in individuals so why not fill your house with these beauties! I bought my little succulent in the blue and white striped pot from Terrain. If you are interested in the pink planters or the geometric shaped planters click on the photos above to see where you can purchase them on Etsy. Succulents are great to have fun with. Experiment with mixing and matching plants, incorporating different rocks, moss, bark, and any other filler you can think up.

Have any of you used succulents to add some green to your decor? I would love to hear about favorites and how you style them.
