If someone asked me to describe my wardrobe, I'd generally say that it's filled with elevated basics and key essentials. I love fashion, but the practical side of me almost always goes with the piece that'll serve my wardrobe for many years to come. Rarely will you find a trendy piece unless it is really too good of a deal to pass up. As each new season shuffles in a new essential must as well. This years must have spring essential is the rain bootie. Once spring officially rolls in there is no chance I'll be wearing anything bulky and that includes my trusted hunter boots. Spring is a time for lighter layers and easy dressing, so if I must deal with rain it'll be in an effortless bootie.
How do you guys feel about the rain bootie over a traditional rain boot? Love it or hate it, I think this is one piece that'll be sticking around in my wardrobe for many years to come.
