The Edit | No. 003
The winter might have started out on a warmer note but the cold weather sure isn't staying in hiding anymore. As the temperatures have finally dipped down low, I've been scrambling to get my warm weather cloths in order. Long, neutral wool coats have headed off to the dry cleaning and thick socks have been pulled out of storage to keep my big old feet warm and cozy. While winter dressing isn't exactly my favorite, I've decided to have fun with my basics this year. I'm throwing in some out of the ordinary accessories and letting my beauty routine tget some updates to spice things up. The basics are still the same. You'll always find me rocking dark wash bottoms and cozy, loose fitting tops but everything else will be getting a little bit of a wake up call.
The Breakdown //
High Neck Sweater - Usually one for form fitted turtlenecks, this high neck sweater from Zara is my new personal favorite. It looks great for work and it works double time on the weekend by helping me add some glam to my typical sweatpants game. Not to mention it is probably more comfortable than any of the pajamas I own.
Body Shaping Leggings - What can I say? They are chic and body shaping. What more could a girl want after a holiday season filled with calories indulgent meals.
Gloves - Sadly enough these super fun gloves sold out recently, but I am still a sucker for finger-less gloves. My office is way too cold not to be. They might not be practical for everyday use, but who says everything neutral has to be.
Pom Pom Hat - Whoever said basics were boring obviously never saw this hat. Throwing caution, and my beloved beanies, to the wind, I'm opting for some fun and funky hats to get me through the season.
Leather Ankle Boots - Knee high boots have me bored this season, so I've decided to opt for fun ankle height booties. These particular beauties have been on constant rotation since the gold touches on the heel make me feel like I finally look good walking away.
