The Edit | No. 001
For a girl who loves fashion, I rarely share that side of my life around here. Maybe it's because the idea of being in front of the camera is my worst nightmare. Whatever the reason, I've decided that it's time that I find a way to share some fashion around here . Now that in no way means you'll see me taking OOTD pictures, but it does mean I will be sharing a bit of my personal style in a way that works for me and this space. So here is my September Edit, a collection of pieces & styles that will be transitioning me into Fall. These pieces are the epitome of my unapologetic, neutral color platte loving self.
THE BREAK DOWN //
High Neck T-Shirt | The last thing I want to do on the weekends is stress about what I'm going to wear. To simplify my weekend dress code, I opt to wear neutral t-shirts in comfortable, yet chic designs. These two are currently on my hit list with their high neck which instantly elevates an otherwise relaxed look.
Skirts With A Slit | Welcoming some cold weather into the mix will be a pleasant change from the sweltering 90 degree weather we've been experiencing around Philadelphia. While I'll be sad to see my jean shorts & sundresses retired to the back of the closet, I'm easing into the world of cold weather dressing with some longer skirts that add a little bit of style & sass through the use of a front slit.
Tunic With Side Slit | Just because it's time to retire the sundresses doesn't mean that dresses all together need to get the boot. This tunic with a sultry side slit is perfect paired with a tight fitting slip or layered over your favorite pair of pants. This month is all about easing into cold weather dressing.
Hooded Zip Pumps | While I'm not quite ready for boots just yet, these hooded zip pumps are perfect for giving my outfits a bit more edge than your standard slingback.
High Neck Sweater | It wouldn't be Fall without the introduction of some chunky sweaters into the wardrobe rotation. I pair chunky, high neck sweaters with more fitted bottoms for a dressed up take on a comfy classic.
