For some reason the winter has me a bit down this year. I usually love this time of year but the lack of snow while still having blistery cold temperature is making me long for spring more than usual. Since it doesn't seem like the long cold winter is going anywhere soon, I'm thinking about bringing a little bit of spring indoors with some watercolor prints from Yao Cheng Design. If you're new to Yao Cheng Design, the majority of her work sold is archival prints of her original watercolor paintings. Her work is stunning, and the soft watercolor designs are the perfect hint of spring I need right now.
Since I don't love bringing too much color into my space, I'm pretty drawn to the Wisteria in Indigo print and the Small Triangles in Multi print. Both of them have a lightness about them that will breath a little life into my space without overwhelming my decor. The prints are incredibly affordable, starting at just $25 for an 8 x 10 print. If you are looking for something a bit larger, prints are sold in various sizes all the way up to size 30 x 40. If prints aren't you're thing, the shop also offers amazing stationary & textiles that would make for an amazing gift. The floral tea towel is a personal favorite of mine.
Now as I sit here writing this, it's a bitter 22 degrees outside so I think it's about time I go order a few and pretend for just a short moment that it's a sunny 75. How do you guys bring life into your space during the long cold winter? I usually wait until late February to start switching out seasonal decor but not this year! Bye bye cold weather, hello flowers & sunshine!
