Holiday Gifts For The Newly Engaged

Holiday Gifts For The Newly Engaged

It's that time of year again, engagement season is upon us friends. Like clockwork, the temperatures start to dip down low and couples left & right begin to get engaged. With quite a few lovely couples in my life having recently gotten engaged, I couldn't think of a better theme to kick off my holiday gift guides with than by sharing some special presents for all those happily engaged couples out there.

Now some people might think you should only buy off the couples registry, but I disagree. While registries are great, I love buying things that are a bit more personalized and unique when selecting an engagement gift. I get that shopping off registry can be tricky, but one way you can avoid giving the same gift as someone else is to not shop at the big box stores. I say leave those stores to the registry and get creative with some of the unique finds offered over on Etsy. With a little searching you can find better versions of most of the things you have in mind.

If you're shopping for a couple that recently got engagement photos done, a couple's portrait by Little Yellow Daisiess would be the perfect way to give them a gift they'll always remember. For the rustic type, personalized birch candles make for the perfect addition to a holiday mantle paired with a lovely me & you pillow to get cozy with on the sofa. If you'd prefer to just give something small while you save up for the main wedding gift, this adorable spoon set or custom ring holder would make for a sweet token.

For more ideas check out the Holiday Hub Etsy has going on right now. Not only will you find some perfect gifts for those love birds in your life, but you also might find a thing or two you could add to your wish list! I'm not even engaged and I want that bicycle for two stationary something bad.
