Bring On The Sunshine

With the sun starting to shine brighter and the days staying light longer it's time to pull out the sunnies. Sunglasses are my favorite accessories to transform an outfit and to add a little extra personality. It's the easiest way in my opinion to hide tired eyes, perk up a boring outfit, or to dip your toes outside your comfort zone. When choosing what sunglasses to wear with a particular outfit I separate them into three categories: feminine, classic, and daring.

Feminine: Think sundress & sandals, long flowing skirts & a neutral heel, chinos & a silk blouse. All these dainty looks work amazing with a pair of sunglasses in a light hue. Light pink, mint green, and tan sunnies will become your new finishing touch. I say cya later lipstick, hello sunnies.

Classic: Jean shorts & a white tank, white shorts & a chambray shirt, bikini & some flip flops. When you are matching a classic pair of sunglasses like an aviator or neutral frames it's great to look effortless.  This is perfect for the girl who wants to look like she woke up looking this good.

Daring: Black skinny jeans & a leather jacket, leather shorts & a white tank, floral maxi skirt & a crop top. Opt for daring shades when you're throwing all caution to the wind or trying to add interest to a simple outfit. These are my favorite type of sunnies because they can add so much personality with a very small detail.

Are any of you as sunglass obsessed as I am? What are a few of your favorites this season? I'm always looking to add more to my growing collection.
