Embracing The Closet Clean Out
For months I have been preparing myself for a much needed closet clean out. I mean as much as I love my silk flower patterned romper from my college days, it really has no place in my daily life anymore. I figured since I was going through the trouble of getting rid of some of my cloths I should probably fill it right back up with things equally as beautiful. Good thinking right? Well I didn't exactly fill it with more cloths but I still add something special. Over the past few years I have been slowly accumulating these awesome black velvet hangers. They make my cloths look better, things don't slip off, and I can fit more in my closet due to their sleek design. I have slowly been attempting to replace all of my plastic hangers with them and finally succeeded. As a pat on the back for finally getting rid of cloths I no longer wear I treated myself to the last few I needed to complete my closet.
I was so pleased with how the hangers transformed my wardrobe I decided to take it one step further. For added organization I bought some basic Command hooks to display my necklaces on the inside of my doors. Having my necklaces easily accessible when dressing has been a real time saver! I realize that getting rid of things can be difficult at times, but when the results leave you with everything looking put together & beautiful it makes it that much easier to embrace! I say let the spring cleaning begin...
Do any of you have an easy solution to make your closet look organized without a lot of effort? I would love any tips you want to pass my way!
